The Murau Gasthof Hotel Lercher is the ideal starting point for motorcycle tours: Niedere Tauern, Nockalmstraße, Slovenia, Italy, Styrian Wine Route, Carinthian lakes and many more - in the middle of the junction of Carinthia, Salzburg and Styria. The medieval town of Murau is located directly on the weather divide of high from the north and the Adriatic Sea.
Laundry drying and a motorcycle ticket are of course included! In the evening you can indulge yourself in our Lercher's Restaurant.

Experience the pure freedom with the motorcycle
In the heart of Austria you will experience pure freedom by motorcycle along the most beautiful routes in the Eastern Alps or during a detour to the warm South. In the middle of the mountains in the medieval town of Murau you will find your accommodation in the hotel Gasthof Lercher.
Directly on the northern ridge of the Alps, the weather divide, you can choose between Adria High and High from the North. On your tour to the north, cross the Niedere Tauern over the Sölkpass into the Enns Valley and from there make your rounds to the Ausseerland and the Salzkammergut or over the Gesäuse to Mariazell. Or you can make a detour via the Nockalm Road to Slovenia or Italy and return via the Carinthian lakes. In Styria , the Wine Road awaits your exploration. But also a trip to the Salzburger Land over the Hohe Tauern and the Großglockner is open to you. According to your mood you can extend your tours as you like.

After the panoramic rides over the individual passes, take a seat on our seating terrace. You have your machine directly in view. You enjoy a sip of your cool Murau beer. Excitedly you talk about your day together. Before your dinner you can freshen up in your Budget Room 3*, Murau Room 4* or Hotel Room 4*. If it has become too chilly after all, a cozy table is waiting for you in our Restaurant .
