Winter fun very close to Hotel Lercher
Only 9 minutes away by car from the Murau Gasthof Hotel Lercher, extra wide and first-class maintained ski slopes await you at the Kreischberg for enjoyable carving and boarding. The child-friendly slopes for the whole family are especially popular during the vacations. Cross-country skiing and tobogganing are also possible here. In summer, numerous hikers can be found on the Kreischberg.

The Hotel Lercher
The charming hotel in the heart of Styria is just right for your skiing vacation. During your skiing you will jet down the slopes. Experience pure skiing pleasure at over 1,900 m above sea level in fantastic weather. In the cozy hotel you can choose between 3-star and 4-star rooms with a view of the Stolzalpe and the castle of Murau, the family of Schwarzenberg.
Special highlights in the Kreischberg ski area
Tubing is a must when you arrive at the top station of the gondola lift. On three secured tracks, you slide down the "tube" about 200 m and are slowed down by the opposite slope. Up you go then easily with the tubing lift.
You can prove that you have what it takes to be a racer on the permanent race track. You have to fight your way through about 20 gates and the best time is automatically measured. The downhill on the speed track is also exciting. On an approx. 100 m long steep slope there is a speed measurement. Speeds of over 80 km/h are measured here. The panorama slope towards Stadl/Mur is 3 km long and extra wide.
In the Snowpark Kreischberg you will find ideal conditions for snowboarders and freeskiers. At 1,900 m above sea level with 2 different lines (beginner and medium) as well as spectacular obstacles, it is the hotspot for all freestylers.
For your children the adventure park Yabaa Dabba Doo Land, Dinopark, Ghost Train and KreiSchi Safari with lion, elephant and much more are waiting. The slope fliers among you can easily determine their altitude meters and slope kilometers by means of Skiline.

Lifts and gondolas
14 lifts await you at Kreischberg. A total of 17,200 people can be transported per hour. The lifts include 3 gondola lifts, one of which can even hold 10 people. The Sixpack is the coolest 6-seater chairlift in Austria from 1,600 m to 2,000 m above sea level. The little guests are transported with the baby lift. Furthermore, there are 4 chairlifts and 4 surface lifts.
The new "Kreischberg 10er"
Blow by blow, the 6-seater gondola lift (from the valley station to the ski area) was replaced at the end of the 2020/2021 season by a state-of-the-art and powerful 10-seater gondola lift . The cost of the entire investment (station building and cable car) amounts to approximately 40 million euros!
Kilometers of slopes and levels of difficulty
A total of 40 kilometers of slopes are divided into 17 km of blue slopes (easy), 15 km of red slopes (medium) and 8 km of black slopes (difficult).

The ski lifts at Kreischberg are open daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Snow-sure descents await you on over 40 kilometers of slopes. 14 lifts facilitate the ascent to skiing and snowboarding pleasure. Discounts are available directly when purchasing multi-day ski passes. For more skiing pleasure you can even choose from 6, 7 and 14 days for your personal skiing days. Furthermore, there are also price treats for families and own Family Days in the early and late season, where children up to 15 years ski free of charge. You can already purchase your ski pass securely online on the ski area's website with your old keycard or at the ticket machine at the valley station.
In the ski depot at Intersport Pintar directly at the valley station your equipment is safely stored overnight and your boots are dried. So you start the next day with warm boots and can enjoy your descents to the fullest. We are happy to reserve your fixed depot for 2 or 4 pairs of skis already before arrival.
Ski rental is possible at Intersport Pintar at the valley station or at Sport "Suli" in the village of St. Lorenzen or at the Snowboard School Suli, mountain station gondola. You already have the possibility to choose your equipment online before arrival.
If you want to learn skiing or snowboarding first, it is best to contact one of the ski and snowboard schools on site. You can try out their extensive offer directly at the mountain station. Safe skiing fun at Kreischberg
The sun kisses you awake in the garden rooms. The earth is covered with a white fluff and the anticipation for your ski and snowboard day at Kreischberg rises. After your hearty breakfast, you set off for the slopes invigorated.
At the valley station you can conveniently pick up your modern equipment at Intersport Pintar. With the latest model, perfectly adapted to today's conditions, it's off to the gondola. You have already purchased your ticket for your ski pass online or, in addition to the regular ticket office, you also have the option of using the contactless ticket machine.
Excitedly, you look through the gondola windows at the downhill run. The first ones are already wagging, carving and gliding down the wide, perfectly groomed slopes. Arriving at the top station, you feel the ice-cold clear winter air. You quickly warm up your muscles and swing towards the 10-seater gondola. Your new ski picks up speed and your first turns make you shine. The perceived crowd in the valley disperses playfully to the slopes and lifts. The orange gondola floats elegantly past the reservoir. Your exuberance increases. Passing the adventure parks for children, you test your skills and swing through the race course. With 20 gates, the run keeps you quite busy. On your next ride, try the speed track right away. Jet down the steep slope at over 80 km/h and leave your opponents far behind. In the Kreischberg Snowpark, watch pro riders, intermediates and beginners show off their tricks over boxes, jibs, kickers and rails. Your desire is aroused and you want to try a few jumps yourself.
Give yourself a break
Frozen through you would like to strengthen. e.g.: in the small rustic Edelweiss hut at the middle station with warm hospitality, in the Kreischberg Wirt next to the mountain station or nevertheless in the Eagel Panorama Restaurant and Bar at the exit of the Sixpack? Warmed up, you continue on your way. You are already looking forward to the more challenging descents on the Rosenkranz. Fine powder snow left and right. You plunge into the pleasure and wedel down. Exhausted, you reach the valley station.

Location and arrival
The Kreischberg ski resort is easy and uncomplicated to reach. The snow-sure idyll is located in the middle of the Nockberge and Niedere Tauern mountains in the heart of Austria, Styria. Via the Tauern freeway and Tamsweg from Salzburg/Munich or via the Murtalschnellstraße, Bruck an der Mur, Judenburg and Scheifling from Vienna and Graz.
