In the heart of Austria, you'll feel completely free on your motorcycle, cruising along the most beautiful routes in the Eastern Alps or taking a trip to the sunny south. Nestled in the mountains, in the medieval town of Murau, you'll find your cozy spot at Hotel Gasthof Lercher.
Right on the northern edge of the Alps, where the weather patterns shift, you can choose your adventure. For a trip north, you can cross the Niedere Tauern mountains via the Sölkpass into the Ennstal valley, and from there extend your ride to the Ausseerland and Salzkammergut regions, or even through the Gesäuse to Mariazell. Alternatively, you could take a detour via the Nockalmstraße to Slovenia or Italy, and then return through the Carinthian Lake District. In Styria, the Wine Road is just waiting for you to explore. Plus, a ride into the Salzburg region over the Hohe Tauern mountains and the Großglockner is also an option. You can easily extend your tours however you like, depending on what you feel like doing!

After your scenic rides over the various passes, grab a seat on our outdoor terrace. You'll have a direct view of your bike as you enjoy a refreshing sip of your cool Murauer beer. Chat excitedly about all your day's adventures! Before dinner, you can freshen up in your Budget Room 3*, Murauer Room 4*, or Hotel Room 4*. And if it gets a bit too chilly, a cozy table in our Restaurant is ready for you.
