Epic hikes in Styria
If you're into long-distance hiking, you've got two awesome routes to pick from: There's the VIA NATURA in the Zirbitzkogel Grebenzen Nature Park (where you'll learn about the connection between people and nature over 10 stages) or the long-distance trail called „From Glacier to Wine“. But the high-altitude hiking trails are also definitely worth checking out, like the 8-peak hike from Kreischberg to Frauenalpe. You can take the gondola up Kreischberg, or use the chairlifts to get to Grebenzen or Lachtal. From there, you can enjoy easy and pleasant hikes that are perfect for the whole family.
When you venture into the Niedere Tauern, you absolutely have to visit one of our crystal-clear lakes. Here, you can set your own pace. You can either be super brave and take a dip in the cool water, or climb the surrounding peaks. Once you've reached your destination, first treat yourself to a delicious hiking snack pack. Then, lie in the sun for a few minutes and just unwind.
