Hotel Gasthof Lercher GmbH & Co KG attaches great importance to the accessibility of its digital offerings. We want to ensure that our website is easily accessible to all users and that the website is accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Barrier-free Access to Websites and Mobile Applications of the Federal Government (Web Accessibility Act - WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 as amended, barrier-free accessibility.

This accessibility statement applies to www.hotel-restaurant-lercher.at.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1" or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

A technical update of the website is already planned and will be implemented in quarter 3/2025.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not barrier-free for the following reasons:

a. Incompatibility with the accessibility regulations

  • Keyboard navigation & focus visibility: Individual operating elements and navigation areas cannot be fully controlled via the keyboard or do not have a clearly visible focus display.
  • Structuring through headings: The labeling of the headings is faulty or inconsistent in some places, which means that a clear structure (H1 - H2 - H3) is not consistently guaranteed.
  • ALT texts: For some images or links, descriptive alternative texts are missing or are not sufficiently informative.
  • Color contrasts: Due to the corporate design, some elements have a contrast ratio to the background that is too low.
  • HTML & semantics: Certain structuring HTML elements (e.g. landmark elements) are not consistently present, which makes orientation difficult for users of assistive technologies.

b. Disproportionate burden

  • PDF documents: Older PDF documents that were created before the current legal requirements came into force are not accessible.
  • Moving content: Automatically changing image sliders cannot be paused.
  • Forms & error messages: If a field in the form is filled in incorrectly or not at all, the cursor is not automatically placed in the relevant field.

c. The contents do not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions

  • Archived content: Certain multimedia content and PDF documents that were posted online before June 28, 2025 are considered archived and are not accessible.
  • External content and embedded third-party services (e.g. embedded maps or third-party plugins).

Enforcement proceedings

If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the above contact option, you can submit a complaint to the Complaints Office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency with Limited Liability (FFG). The FFG accepts complaints electronically via the complaints office contact form.

The complaints are examined by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the provisions of the Web Accessibility Act, in particular deficiencies in compliance with the accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an institution attributable to it.

If the complaint is justified, the FFG must make recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies.
