Welcome to Murau! The Murauer Gasthof Hotel Lercher has been in the Lercher family since 1910, now run by the 4th generation. Since May 2022, Anna Lercher and Daniel Leitner have been managing the place.
Since December 2018, Daniel Leitner (Anna's partner) has been in charge of the kitchen, cooking up delicious 'Styrian cuisine with Austrian variety'.

History of our Hotel and Gasthof in Murau
Our approximately 100 beds across 48 rooms are divided into
- 15 standard rooms in the main building – our 3-star Gasthof
- 20 double rooms, 3 family rooms, and 2 maisonettes/suites in the 4-star hotel
- 10 Murau rooms with 4 stars in the main building, redesigned in December 2016

And that's how it all started - the story of our hotel:
| 1976 | Adolf Lercher took over the Gasthof in Murau's old town |
| 1977 | Our hotel grew to 50 beds |
| 1985 | The attic was converted into a small seminar center |
| 1991 | We made the kitchen and bathrooms bigger |
| 1998 | Expanded to 100 beds in the 4-star category with a small wellness area (Relaxarium, sauna, steam sauna, light therapy, solarium, and infrared cabin) |
| 2014 | Dagmar Lercher took over management |
| 2018 | Daughter Anna joined the family business and took over kitchen management from Daniel Leitner |
| 2022 | Anna Lercher takes over management |
