The Sölk Pass - your winding highlight
Only around 30 minutes by motorcycle from Hotel Lercher is a real gem for touring bikers: the Sölkpass. The winding panoramic road connects the Mur Valley with the Enns Valley and takes you right through the Niedere Tauern.
The route - also known as the Erzherzog-Johann-Straße - winds its way through impressive landscapes at an altitude of 1,788 meters. Numerous viewpoints, photo spots and small stops await along the way, making the Sölk Pass an unforgettable experience.
A special tip: the pass road is not very busy and is considered an insider tip - but beware, it is not cleared in winter and is only passable in the warm season. If you want to go further, you can continue the tour via the Radstädter Tauern Pass or the Triebener Tauern Pass.
