The Sölkpass - Your Highlight for Winding Roads
Just about 30 minutes by motorbike from Hotel Lercher, you'll discover a true gem for riders: the Sölkpass. This winding panoramic road connects the Murtal and Ennstal valleys, taking you right through the heart of the Niedere Tauern mountains.
This route, also known as Erzherzog-Johann-Straße, winds its way through stunning landscapes, reaching an altitude of 1,788 meters. Along the way, you'll discover countless viewpoints, photo spots, and charming little stops that make the Sölkpass a truly unforgettable experience.
Here's a special tip: This pass road isn't very busy and is considered a hidden gem – but heads up, it's not cleared in winter and you can only ride it during the warmer seasons. If you're looking to go even further, you can extend your tour over the Radstädter Tauernpass or the Triebener Tauernpass.
