A ride with the Murtalbahn steam excursion train
The Murtal Railway is just a few minutes' walk from Murauer Gasthof Hotel Lercher!
The Murtalbahn kicks off at Unzmarkt station, heading to Murau / Stolzalpe, and then continues on to Tamsweg and Mauterndorf. So, it takes you all the way from Styria to Salzburg!
The steam excursion train runs every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer months, from July to September, taking you from Murau to Tamsweg and back.
Tip: Bring your bike along!
