You slowly make your gentle tracks along the mountain slopes. Your mind focuses on what truly matters, leaving all your everyday worries behind. Dressed warmly in layers, like an onion, and with skins on your skis, you listen closely to the satisfying crunch under your feet.
Your tour takes you through the deeply snow-covered winter forest, over logging tracks, open meadows, and steep ridges. The wind will be blowing snow from the frosted trees. You'll glide over open alpine meadows, getting closer to your destination with every step. Once you arrive, the Murau mountain world will be spread out before you. Warm up with a cup of tea. Then, you'll whiz down into the valley, past snowy trees and an idyllic winter landscape. A refreshing Murau wheat beer will be waiting for you!

This moderate tour is about 6.75 km long and takes around 1 hour and 40 minutes. You'll start at the Grebenzen cable car valley station "Pabstin" at 1,000 m in St. Lambrecht. You can park right there. Your destination is the Grebenzen mountain hut, located at 1,680 m above sea level.
Directions
From the valley station, we'll head west, first following the gentle path of the family slope. After crossing the roads, we'll go through open meadows towards the south (it's a gentle climb). We'll pass the Pirkbauer farm and make our way towards the monastery forest.
We'll climb up along the family slope's route until we reach a small saddle just east of the Gidikogel. Then, we'll follow the family slope along a moderately rising ridge. At about 1,600 m high, the family slope turns northeast and takes you along a forest path directly to the mountain hut on the Grebenzen (at 1,648 m above sea level).

This challenging tour is 7.11 km long and takes about 2 hours. You'll start at the Grebenzen cable car valley station "Pabstin" at 1,000 m above sea level in St. Lambrecht. You can park right there. Your goal is to reach the Grebenzen peak, passing the Dreiwiesenhütte on the way.
