Lachtal is located about a 35-minute drive from Murauer Gasthof Hotel Lercher and is known as a family ski resort with charming huts. It's one of the most beautiful, largest, and snow-sure ski resorts in Styria. Its highest point is at 2,222 m above sea level.

Lifts and gondolas
In the Lachtal winter sports area, you'll find 2 six-seater chairlifts and 6 drag lifts.
For the little ones, there's a magic carpet and a Teddy rope lift. On the slopes, they can zoom through the mini slalom at the figure course and on the wave run.
Kilometers of slopes and difficulty levels
The slope map shows 25 km of blue, red, and black runs. Freeriders will absolutely love it! Fantastic descents with lots of natural jumps are waiting for you, and all the little border-freaks are already practicing in the ski area to break out into the wilderness. Plus, there are 10 km of marked ski routes (though not groomed or controlled), as well as 1 cross-country ski trail, 1 winter hiking path, 1 illuminated ice rink, and 1 illuminated toboggan run.

More information about the ski resort
The ski lifts are open daily from 9 AM to 4 PM. With 150 hectares of slopes, you're guaranteed to have a blast! For a real "freeride feeling," head off-piste. The "Kinder-Lachtal" (Kids' Lachtal) promises a fantastic time with mini-slalom, colorful obstacle courses, a wave run, and a treasure hunt. You'll get discounts when you buy multi-day ski passes. Plus, there are special deals for families and dedicated Family Days in the early and late season, where kids up to 15 years old can ski for free! You can already buy your ski pass securely online on the ski resort's website using your old keycard, or at the ticket machine at the valley station.
Thanks to the cooperation between Lachtal and Kreischberg, you can ski on 2 mountains in the Murtal holiday region with just one ski pass. Lachtal also offers benefits through the Styria Joker and the Mur-Mürz Top Ski Pass.

Or, if you're coming from Vienna and Graz, take the Murtalschnellstraße to Judenburg, St. Georgen ob Judenburg, and Oberzeiring.
