Red Bull Ring in Spielberg

The Red Bull Ring Spielberg is about a 50-minute drive from Murauer Gasthof Hotel Lercher and is a popular excursion destination in the region. Around the new landmark, the 17-meter-high bull, you can enjoy guided tours that take you behind the scenes of motorsport. The track length is 4.318 km, matching the Grand Prix track layout from 1996 to 2003.

Since its reopening in May 2011, top-notch racing events like DTM, ADAC GT Masters, European Le Mans Series, and the Truck Race Trophy have been held at the Red Bull Ring Spielberg.

With the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix, the premier class of motorsport is back at the Red Bull Ring Spielberg! You can enjoy a real “hands-on motorsport festival” here. Plus, kids up to 14 years old get free entry to the racetrack when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

At the end of the race, a lucky fan will get to wave the legendary "Chequered Flag". Only at Spielberg do Formula 1 fans get this close to their idols – you won't find it anywhere else. Come see for yourself and don't miss out on the event of the year!

The voestalpine wing is like the gateway to the Red Bull Ring and the whole Spielberg experience. Here, visitors are warmly welcomed and given information right at the start-finish line. On the ground floor, there's a café ready to give you the energy you need before your Spielberg adventure. And yes, there's a fan shop too! You can grab vouchers and tickets at the information office.

The Red Bull Ring's Car Park is where you'll find their very own motorsport fleet. There's something for every motorsport fan here – whether you prefer 4 or 2 wheels, asphalt or off-road! These vehicles are just waiting for you to try them out on the different tracks. In winter, you can enjoy special driving experiences like adventure laps, winter training, and drift sessions.

At the Driving Center, drivers can really pick up speed and get ready for the racetrack's challenges. Spread across 46,000 m², you'll find a skid plate, a downhill track, a circular course, and a huge asphalt area that can be watered.

For those who aren't super into motorsport, you'll definitely find something fun to do with all the options available at the Red Bull Ring.

In winter, the rooftop terrace of Bull's Lane transforms into an ice rink, perfect for ice skating, ice hockey, and Bavarian curling. The 40-meter 'Bull Slide' is pure fun for tubing! Also, in winter, the Red Bull Ring is a great spot for cross-country skiing, thanks to its many trails. And for indoor trial bikers, the trail courses in the pits are just what you need.

The Ring also hosts various cabaret shows and concerts. In 2016, it was home to the very first Spielberg Music Festival.
